Digitizing Kiosk
Digitizing Kiosk : Fun and Friendly
The digitizing kiosk provides users with clear intuitive interface thereby getting rid of training sessions on systems. Whether it is shared among various users on its own cabinet and its touch screen or dedicated for the use by a single user on his stand-alone PC, the Digitizing kiosk can be customized with the colours and logo of the company thereby enhancing company branding.

Multi-user and Multi-scanner
A single kiosk can be shared among various people who utilize it in turn. It follows the pattern modelled on the use of the « photocopier » which one finds in the hall or on every floor in a company.
The concept of the digitizing kiosk allows the management of multiple scanners, connected with PCs in local network and accessible from the simple interface of digitization which can be carried out on all users’ workstations, even if they are not directly connected with the scanner. This operating mode authorises the sharing of one or several scanners in the same office by all users who have right of use.
Security
The utilisation of the digitizing kiosk requires the identification of the user, for example by a password directly managed by Documalis or redirected by a LDAP directory or Active Directory. This operating mode reduces the risks of intrusion in the document system by non-authorized persons.
Utilisation by remote user
Digitizing kiosks can be easily deployed at remote sites (clients, agencies, storage depots, shops, logistic partners) and connected by a simple low bandwidth Internet connection with a main site or despatch digitized documents by remote. All exchanges with the main site are secured and the documents are encrypted before their despatch from one site to another. Documalis Process Server or Workflow Server is equipped so as to automatically process the incoming document according to its type and the digitizing kiosk utilized.
