Documalis Fax Server uses the robust fax engine of Windows 2000/XP/2003 and it is directly driven by RTC or RNIS modems for the receipt or simultaneous despatch of faxes on several telephone lines. Up to 8 modems can be configured in parallel in a Windows 2003 server. Documalis Fax Server displays its full potential once coupled with other applications servers in the same range of products:
Trace, Dashboard, Document et Workflow
• Document Trace ensures the full traceability of the company’s incoming and outgoing faxes.
• Documalis Dashboard controls the availability of the fax server and sends alerts in case of anomalies.
• Documalis Document authorizes the automatic storage of the company’s incoming and outgoing faxes
• Documalis Workflow allows the quick circulation of information relating to the incoming fax, but it also ends a document workflow by the despatch of a fax relating to the approved document.
Process, Mail et Report
• Documalis Process allows the automation of the processing of the incoming fax: identification of sender, content recognition by OCR, automatic selection of internal recipients, anti-spam filters.
The Send Fax instruction also allows the despatch of a fax directly from a Process Server.
• Documalis Mail can act as automated relay for an incoming fax in order to automatically route the PDF document generated from the fax to a list of recipients.
• Documalis Report and Form Server can also use the Fax server to send, by fax, uploaded documents in Form Server or generated by Report Server.

An incoming and outgoing fax server capable of starting an integration Process, a Workflow or storage of documents upon receipt of faxes. The system is very reliable and it has the capacity to be upgraded up to 8 RTC or RNIS lines, by simple addition of external fax modems to the server. The built-in traceability base secures the processing time, authorises search and provides proofs in case of dispute by external parties.
