Documalis Process Server : A mouse-friendly editor
Documalis Designer is the editor of scenarios shared among Process, Schedule and Workflow Servers. It allows the scenario designer to graphically assemble Tasks and Instructions in Libraries or Processes which can be carried out in Documalis Server in an automatic way (event detection, calendar, planning…)
Scenario Components
Documalis scenarios are made up of Tasks which correspond to logical instructions sequences in which can be inserted ramifications like IF, CASE or LOOP.
The Instructions are rich and varied and they cover all classical integration needs of the company : handling of files, native databases, XML (DOM) structures, electronic documents or PDF, images; analysis and extraction of content, OCR processing and barcode recognition; encryption and compression of documents ; transfer by network copying or Internet technologies (FTP(s), HTTP(s), e-mail…) etc.
Complementary business plug-ins designed specially for the driver are also available.
Execution in a heterogeneous environment
Documalis Document Server is equipped with XRemote agents developed in Java technology and it authorizes the execution of Instructions directly with Windows, UNIX, Linux or AS/400 servers in which they have been installed, along with the user’s rights.
A shared processing core
The other Documalis applications servers use the whole Process Server core to effect their conversions, transformations and complex integrations in their processing sequences.

A server for the processing of company documents which authorises the development of complex document integration scenarios. Process Server has in excess of 130 upgradable instructions relating to documents processing, images, PDF format, XML indexes and files, access to databases and to the connectivity with company system software. Just a couple of days are required for its customization for each company.
