A simple and rapid solution for consultation of PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpoint documents in Web mode. Document Viewer authorizes document search by file, according to multicriteria indexes or in full text mode. The documents after search are presented in form of a table or by vignettes, can be previewed and dragged in a basket authorising the global retrieval of the documents, in the form of a ZIP file or chained PDF.

Simple, rapid and effective…

The Document Viewer solution uses the Web technology for research, preview and downloading of documents via a simple Internet Explorer browser or Mozilla on users’ PCs. Two hours are plenty for the installation of the product, including the management by users, the definition of types and Indexes, search in Full text mode, Files and Multicriteria. A simple Windows PC under XP, Windows 2003 or Vista is enough to get the solution in place, no server required, no HTTP server, no external database. The local database integrated to the software authorises processing loads of a million records, an SQL Server, MySql or Oracle can be used as back up in case of excessive volume.

File management
Document Viewer has a presentation of documents in the form of virtual files, accessible in a protected way through Web interface. The content of directories can be viewed in the form of a list or document vignettes in two sizes.

Full Text Search
Users have an integrated search in Full text mode, using several words and expressions AND, OR, NOT to search Pdf or electronic documents in terms of their content, irrespective of their storage or Index. Document Viewer uses in a transparent way, the indexing full text engine of Microsoft Vista, available in the form of free download for Windows XP and 2003.

Multicriteria search
Document Viewer authorizes the definition of types of documents and indexes specific for each type. These indexes can be fed automatically during the integration of documents, and this authorizes simple or complex search on information stored in the document database. A simple screen allows the capture of values searched and gives direct access to data retrieved in the form of tables or graphic vignettes, with preview of the first page of the document before it is opened.
