Security and access rights
Portal Server comes with a full management of access rights; it is based on current notions of users, of groups and profiles defined in Documalis User Server, with an external control option for passwords, via a Windows server or Active Directory. Web pages published can be encrypted in SSL mode, through the integration of a X509 certificate in the Https server built in Portal Server, and this authorizes protected access from outside the company via Internet, for partners, suppliers, logisticians or employees stationed in external sites.
Integration in an external portal
The screens in Portal Server can be very easily reintegrated in any other company portal with the help of an Iframe and a specific URL which gives access directly on any page of Portal Server. A single sign-on mode is also available for a full external integration, so as to avoid the re-authentification of the user during access to the pages of the Documalis portal.
Reporting Web and Business Intelligence
Portal Server is also a business reporting solution in Web mode : the user chooses an edition from a list, a menu, or an interactive form, get information about the criteria and required parameters for the launching of the report, then executes it in real time on the company’s server to obtain a result in the form of Image, Text, Word, Excel or PDF file on the screen, to download locally or send to Documalis Process, Workflow or Document Server .
