Dashboard Server is a surveillance dashbord for key processes in the company : it provides configurable Web screens authorising the visualisation of Indicators in terms of green – yellow – orange – red depending on the seriousness of the information. Each Indicator helps visualise the system or business information : availability of servers, databases, Web site, electronic mail service, local network, analysis of logs, follow-up of essential processing, effective use of data extracted from management software, follow-up of manufacturing or logistics …

Visualisation, Alerts and Incidents

The restitution of Indicators is made up of various Web screens. It is accessible depending on the rights of the user, with the possibility of zooming in on the categories and the complicated indicators. This allows those responsible for various functions and business activities to have reduced view of the Dashboard, permitting them to focus on their own sector of activity.

Dashboard Server also comprises a subscription module which allows users to receive Email alerts or SMS in case of excess, it also comprises a management of work schedules, days worked, leaves and payments … An Incident management module makes it possible for all Documalis applications to centralize anomalies detected in order to facilitate the work of those using the system.


Collection of informationDashboard
The indicators are updated periodically to allow a display in real time in Dashboard Server. Documalis Watcherhandles the automatic updating of the technical Indicators of surveillance CPU, Memory, Disk, Process, Network, Files … A plug-in dedicated for ProcessServer provides numerous complementary information like the surveillance of Windows services, the list of software installed, the number of files… Business information is collected by Process Server scenarios, capable of acceding periodically the graphic data, via connector, API or direct reading in databases.

Record of Incidents Documalis
All Documalis servers have a native connection with Dashboard Server via a simple TCP port. In case a fault is detected by Process, Workflow, Desktop, Communication, Portal, Trace, Document Viewer or Document Server, a record can be automatically generated in the module Incidents of Dashboard Server. Documalis servers can also automatically feed Dashboard Indicators to follow in real time the way important processes are functioning.

Built-in Help Desk
The application has a built-in Helpdesk module which provides a complete follow-up of Incidents in Web mode. These incidents can be created automatically from certain indicators in case of excess, generated by other Documalis applications natively connected to Dashboard Server, or declared manually by authorized users. Incidents require a processing by a user in order for them to be addressed and cleared. A knowledge base with multicriteria search is automatically created during the handling of Incidents.
