Documalis Communication Server integrates an incoming and outgoing FAX server which can launch an integration Process, a Workflow or storage of documents upon receipt of a fax. The system rests on great reliability and an advanced capacity of up to 16 lines, by a simple addition of multi-channel boards or fax modems external to the server. The incorporated traceability protects the exchanges, authorizes research and provides certificates/reports in case of disputes about Fax.

A fax server shared on the network

Documalis Communication Server authorizes the sharing of faxes among users in Web mode, without requiring any deployment on users’ PCs. According to rights granted, a user can check at any time the list of Faxes received in his Web browser, retrieve the image or PDF file on his PC for local use or launching a graphic processing on that document (Process, Workflow …).

Documalis Communication Server authorizes the despatch of faxes by users from the Web interface of the software. You just have to type the text of the fax in the dedicated page or to download the Pdf, Word, Excel, Powerpoint or image document, to add a customized cover page and to follow the edition in real time on the Documalis fax server. A confirmation email can be sent at the end of the processing, the document can be easily transferred to the same number or another addressee according to circumstances.



Automation for incoming Faxes
 Filterson incoming faxescan be used to launch automated processing: edition on a given printer, automatic routing by Email to a list of addressees, launching of a Workflow or a Process, transfer in document management system Documalis, execution of an external programme etc.

Multi-channel fax engine
 Documalis Fax Server uses a robust fax engine which drives in parallel multi-channel boards or RTC / RNIS modems for the simultaneous reception and despatch of faxes on several telephone lines. Up to 8 modems and 16 channels can be configured simultaneously.

Archiving and traceability of faxes
 Incoming and outgoing faxesar e stored locally by Communication Server and they are accessible anytime, showing the date a fax was received. Archived faxes can be signed and archived in Documalis Trace Server or an external electronic safe to guarantee the authenticity of the document and the date on which it was sent or received.
